Lauren Donatelli, a licensed educational psychologist, began her training at the University of Oregon, where she received her bachelor of science degree in Psychology. From there Lauren went on to work as a behavioral therapist, providing in-home ABA therapy to children with Autism. After four years in this position, Lauren went on to complete her graduate schooling at San Diego State University. She earned her Masters in Education, with an emphasis in counseling, and Education Specialist degree. While in graduate school, Lauren participated in two traineeships, where she worked to further her knowledge in working with students with Autism, as well as students from Native American backgrounds. In addition, Lauren completed additional coursework in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis. Following graduate school, Lauren worked in public schools as a school psychologist for five years, working with students from preschool through 12th grade. During her last two years, Lauren took on the role of completing all of the non-public school assessments, expanding her experience in working with a population of students with a higher level of need, and unique abilities.

Lauren is currently passionate about identifying students’ strengths, specific areas of difficulty, and helping to provide various evidence based interventions and strategies that can benefit the student’s growth, progress, and self-confidence, while giving those who know the student a window into their mind, so that they may be of better support to them.
