CALWORKS Learning Assessment

Getting back to work means learning about your strengths and weaknesses.

What is CALWORKS Learning Assessment?

CalWORKS participants can be referred for learning disabilities assessments to be completed by Brain Learning. Brain Learning meets individually with each referred participant and administers specific tests, which include an aptitude test, achievement test and a vocational interest test. The testing is utilized to determine if the participant has a learning disability. Brain Learning completes a written evaluation, which includes a determination on the existence of a learning disability, severity of the disability, recommended accommodations and recommendations for additional services.
