Karen Veinbergs is a bilingual Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working in the public school setting. She holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in school psychology and school counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California San Diego and a Master’s of Science in School Psychology from National University. Due to her extensive background working in schools, she has a thorough understanding of students with disabilities. Karen has worked within several school districts in San Diego, San Francisco, and even Boston, in various settings from urban to suburban, and public and private schools. She has ample experience working with students with a wide range of ages, needs, disabilities, cultures, linguistic backgrounds, and developmental levels.

As a native Spanish speaker and immigrant born in Mexico City, she is well-equipped to conduct bilingual psycho-educational assessments and take cultural and linguistic diversity into consideration while also considering factors such as immigration and acculturation history.
