School Neuropsychological Assessment

A school neuropsychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of neurocognitive functions such as attention, executive functions, fine and gross motor, and memory processing. Standard and non standardized testing procedures are used to assess the various abilities that relate to learning and using knowledge and skills. A considerable amount of time is spent collaborating with medical professionals to correctly understand the medical strengths and weaknesses of the student, as well as the  prognosis of the condition. That information is integrated into the evaluation to help spell out evidencebased recommendations for the education of the student. Individuals having a known or suspected brain injury or neurological difference often need a thorough assessment in order to develop an individualized comprehensive educational plan. 20-30 hours.
