Assessment

At Brain Learning we take a strengths-based approach to all assessments.  This means that we focus our evaluations on discovering your child’s unique strengths and talents.  We believe that all children can learn and the goal of our assessments is to uncover the conditions, strategies, and environments kids need in order to build on their strengths and learn.  Assessment involves direct and indirect methods such as testing with our psychologists in a 1:1 setting, careful review of educational and (where appropriate) medical records, interviewing people who work with your student, gathering data, and observing your student in school.

Our team is knowledgeable about cutting edge assessment research and practice, ensuring your student is properly assessed.  We strive to communicate the results and recommendations of our assessments in a way parents and teachers can easily understand.
