Is your child Struggling?

Is your child struggling to make friends and you’re not sure why? Is homework a nightly battle with your child? Do you feel that the special education team at your school just doesn’t understand your child’s needs? Are you frustrated by your child’s lack of academic progress and want to know why? Does your child refuse to go to school? Do you want to better understand your child’s recent diagnosis, and how this impacts her ability to learn?

These are just a small example of many of the problems we have helped families solve through our focused but comprehensive assessments. Our goal is to educate not only parents and school teams, but children themselves. We want to empower children to discover their unique strengths and help them discover the tools they need to succeed.

  • Knowledge that can be applied in school and in the home

  • Baselines that can be used to track progress

  • Connecting the disability with academic instruction that works

  • How to create meaningful opportunities for inclusion at your child’s school

  • Research based interventions and how to logistically use them

  • Positive Behavior Supports in the home and in school

  • You can’t truly help the child without recognizing the needs in all environments

How can you help My Child?

Our evaluations are carefully selected according to your child’s needs and your questions about your child’s learning. We work for children! They are our primary clients and focus. Because we are able to remain impartial, always keeping the student’s best interest at the forefront, we can transcend many of the barriers faced by other assessors. Our evaluations are thoughtful and thorough, and we are not afraid to say what a child needs.

We do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to assessment – our recommendations are personalized for your child based on his or her unique strengths and weaknesses. Finally, we have experience communicating with schools in language they can understand and work hard to have our recommendations implemented to help your child.

  • We bring our knowledge about your child into the school
  • We attend the school meeting to make sure the recommendations are followed
  • We make every effort to make sure you understand what is written about your child
  • We will sit with you to answer your questions about your child
  • We will go into your private school and help build supports for your child

  • We will provide a road map for your child’s future
